Boerne Cibolo Nature Center

If you are going to be in and around the Boerne area, you have to check out the Cibolo Nature Center located at 140 City Park Rd.  The park is opened 365 days a year and is both dog and horse friendly! There are so many things to do: walk the trails, locate the dinosaur tracks, catch and release fish, bird watch, explore the marsh and so much more!  This place is extremely popular for snapping family photos! Absolutely no cost to spend the day here!

Boerne Cibolo Nature Center has miles of walking trails that lead down to the Cibolo Creek and also connect with the City of Boerne trails.   The Cibolo Creek was two of my grandsons’ favorite spot where they loved to catch and release fish when they were younger.  The center is also known for the dinosaur tracks which is a huge attraction for kids and adults alike!

Pack your picnic lunch and stay for the day!  Picnic tables are set up in the park including down by the Boerne Cibolo Creek.
